orion stock motor help

i run my car in my drive way but it seems to lose alot of power when it hits the course. any ideas on how to help or fix this problem? things to buy or check?

Do you use differnt batteries at the course?

You may have your motor geared for speed so switch to a smaller pinion and you'll have more torque. Do this if you run on a tight track.
