From Kyosho:

Kyosho announces new high-performance "V-Slick" tires that are specially made for the popular 1:8 scale Inferno GT series cars. The new slicks are available in three different compounds, and are made from race-proven rubber that ensures long life (up to three times longer than stock) and better performance. The V-Slicks are packaged in pairs, include foam inserts, and are designed to mount directly to any Inferno GT wheels. Wheels are available separately (shown for display purpose only). Three different shore ratings mean these tires are ready for anything ranging from street or parking lot surfaces up to the high-traction surface of a prepared racetrack.

I'll stick to my Technokit Rally Games, thank you very much.

Solid, one-piece tyres with amazing grip and durability. I somehow can't see a foamed slick doing that...

Those would be fun for 1/8 buggies.

I run foam slicks on my buggy. They're pretty durable really. If you get into gravel or off road, they tend to chunk up the edges....

But I digress, these tires are rubber, not foam. Look cool to me.

The foundation of the GT is essentially a 1/8 buggy as you may already know, so yes, these would be a blast on a 1/8 buggy. If nothing else, it's a good tire to have around when you need to break-in an engine and you don't want to waste your off-road tires. ;)

I meant foam insert, rubber tyre. I apologise for not being clear enough.
However, if you have ever tried Road Rages or Ofna slicks or treads vs Rally Game, you will know that buggies are much better off with solid tyres.
