i just a rc10t3 sport kit i put it together fine i have worked the bugs uot after chewing up 2 servos (dont know how)i have to get a better servo then i have now. if i land a little sideways off a jump or hit something it seems like my servo horn is slipping on the servo gear because it will get stuck turning to the left or the right depending on which side came into contact with the solid object. then i have to push my tires to the opposite direction to get them centered again. oyea how can i get my diodes to stay on my dad soldered them and scratched the paint a little so the solder would stick but 2 of them have come off thanks> i hope this makes sense!!

well i have had the problem where if i land hard the steering freezes and then if i turn it it sometimes works again and the problem was the connector from the servo was coming ever so slightly out of the receiver. I just took the connector off the 3 wires and put it back on making sure that the wires were in a far as possible and tight as possible. Also if the servo horn is slipping off make sure you have the screw on that goes through the horn and the white part that protrudes from the servo.

Hmmm cant really understand the diode thing. Are you talking about the small round black thing that you solder onto the motor or the 3 capacitators you solder onto the motor. If its 3 capacitators remember to stick the wire through the holes on the motors solder posts. A solder joint should never really be able to come apart. Not sure what paint your talking about is becuase the only paint is on the body.

Oh wait i just reread your post and i think i understand. Yes scratch the paint on the can of the the motor. Just apply a blob of solder and then use a flat blade screw driver to make sure the ends of the capacitators are fully submerged in the solder and in contact with the can. It really should not be coming off.
