i just got into rc cars about a year ago. i purchased a rs4 sport (hpi) with a team orion chrome stock. i practice with the car in my drive way, but when i hit the track my car seems to lose all of its speed. can u give me some ideas on how to help this problem? things to check? maybe things to buy to help? anything. THANKS

What kind of track do you race on. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

You might be able to use a bigger pinon or smaller spur. In your driveway you probably have to turn alot, but if you have a long straitaway at the track you could use a bigger pinon or smaller spur to get more top end speed, BUT it will take you longer to get there.

Are you sure it isn't just a matter of perspective? I know that when I drive my car in the driveway, it seems much faster than at the track. The driveway is a small relatively closed space, and the track is large and open, the car's speed is the same, it just seems different.
