Hi i just got a nitro motor that u can start with a drill from the reAR OF THE MOTOR INSTEAD OF USING A STARTER BOX. Not sure what u call this, but i was wondering if starting the engine this way takes anything from the motor. I find that it is easier to start this way. Any help would be great

If the motor is designed to be started like that, there is no problem with starting it this way. I don't own any nitro vehicles but I know some engines can be started like this. I suspect there is a certain direction the drill should be turning in, so just make sure you follow the instructions.

There's no danger to the motor, being that these drives work with the help of a one-way bearing, just like the electro-starts, or pull-starts. :)

Less parts so it is lighter and less friction I suppose because it doesn't have to stick out the back plate.
