I just picked up a servo for my FT TC3. It's a JR NES-4721. I don't have any info on it except that the guy at my LHS says it's a real good one (I figured that from the $120 price tag though :D )
Does anyone have one of these? Is it in fact good for my application?
Thanks
I just found the information for your servo from Horizon hobby:
4721 ultra-torque servo:
Torque: 119.6oz./in.
Speed: .22sec/60 degress
Cost: $84.95 (If you said $120 That could be too much)
CONCLUSION: My Opinion
All the information I got, which means this servo may not be good for your TC3. Because this is High Torque servo(good) but without the SPEED. TORQUE is very enough on this servo but you must need speed for your high performance on road car.(SPEED is very very very inportant)
Model# 4735 Ultra-Speed may be better.
Or Hitec 5925 or Airtronic 94357Z are the best.

Big Whig, ckk sounds about right on the pricing. Our local shops sell those for about $90. I however I am not sure what is the most important servo charactaristics for onroad. It seems to me that speed & torque isn't as important for onroad as is precision. Maybe someone else who does onroad can help out. We have 6 or 7 JR4735's in our cars & truck' both gas & electric, & they,ve never missed a beat. The new version is JR4750, a little more torque, & a little faster.
