my Rally Weapon's shocks are leaking! there the red aluminum ones that are bottom filled. i want new ones! i was thinking of getting ones made for touring cars and putting longer shafts on them. would that work? if you have any comments please reply. by the way i want shocks that are aluminum and are treaded!

thanks

The shocks you have are fine. Pick up a rebuild kit and rebuild them. The RPM tools that fit the shocks and will help you lock them down. Make sure you don't tear the seals or you'll be leaking all over again.

one other thing to remeber whenyou rebuild, make shure not to damage the shaft, that will wear the seals faster

Man, I wish I could get Red threaded shock bodies for my XXXT. I'd much rather have red anodized stuff than blue...

FYI RD, the leaking shocks are caused by a bad seal on the bottom. All you need to be concerned with replacing are the cartridge seals and the shaft seals. You might as well just buy new cartridges, but don't get new shafts, pistons, or shock bodies.
