My battery packs have been acting really strange lately, no one seems to be trying to leak battery acid! This pack is my best pack made of Sanyo 2400s! I am very angry since the speedo on one of my cars has melted part of it's case, and now this! PLEASE HELP!

I am using an LRP V7.1 with Dean's Ultra Plugs in an Associated T3 Factory Team. The battery was making a sizziling sound and the heatshrink on it is coming off. I charge it with either a Tekin BC5A or Novak DigiPeak+. thanks for your help.

Dude that is NOT a good sign... either the wires are set up wrong or something is preventing your car from moving... did you hard wire your electronics? :)

no, i did not and will not hard wire, since i used to and hate it. as for the problem with the T3 not going, i pinpointed it to the motor. the batteries no one here can figure out.

What kind of motor are you running? The only problem I can think of is that you must be running like a VERY worn-out motor or a 6x1 that are pulling like 45amps. That would be why the batts might be getting soo hot that the shrink-wrap splits. (I've seen it happen to a friend of mine's packs.)

My 1700 pack is fine now, but my 2400 and 1500 packs still won't charge all the way, and the 2400 isn't trying to leak anymore. :) i linked most of my problems to a bad motor in my T3. i have chaged the motor in it and now it is fine with the 1700 pack.
