I need to soldering the battery..

but my soldering iron has not enough watts for that..

is it enough to soldering the battery?

hmmm, that may do the job, but for $6, I cant believe it is very good quality. Personally, I have a Weller 40 watt that seems to do the job. Check your local hardware store (if you have one) for irons. Look for a nice, big tip and higher wattage. anything above 40 watt will do the job I think. :cool:

I agree w/ evst 360. "You get what you pay for" ,as they always say. I'd look into a better quality soldering iron to do the job. Also, be sure and use the proper tinning/fluxing procedure. It'll make the process a whole lot easier.

but there are lots of weller soldering irons there...(some 40watts..also.)

can you recommand specific model number?

Thats what I use for rc soldering. Works great and eliminates the need to flux. Still needs to be clean before soldering.

Seems like I see recommendations of 40-60 watts for an iron. Like spelled out here -
