Went and bought these tonight at Radio shack. They are like $ 53 at Tower hobbies ? Whats up with that ? Are RS batteries that bad

Hey man I couldnt find them at my Radio Hut. Their batteries are ok for bashing and stuff but if you race they are good for practice. I think the cells work fine but others say they are unrealiable. Just my .02 cents

Yeah, what he said. Radio Crack batteries are great for bashing. I have a couple 1700's that I bought two years ago that still work great. If you get Ni-Mh batteries make sure your charger can handle them (check the manual) or they won't last very long.

Hey go to Pro-Match's website. They are over stocked in Sanyo matched 3000's, selling at 36-39$ for a 6-cell unassembled and are equivalent to Trinity's Race Spec 3000's at half the cost. I have 2 of 'em, they are very good batteries.
