Um well... did that fix it?

does it make the noise when you give it just a little throttle, does not have to be enough to make it move but just a little, mine beeps but I adujst the trim just so that it stops.

when i barly touch the bottom of the trigger, it does it, and when i barly touch the top of the tripper, it stop, should i make it make the noise and slower turn the throttle trim backwards until it stops?

Redo your ESC set up on Neutral, high, and brakes travel. It is set wrong in neatral. Center your Radio TX b4 adjusting the ESC. Be sure you turn off the ESC for it to keep in memory, and make sure the LED or it beeps when it confirms the set up.

Are you using the stock TQ radio (I'm assuming that because of your user name, you run a Rustler)? The trigger return springs wear out over time and is not the best of the best (it's an RTR radio, so yeah...). When I was using the stock TQ radio system with my Rustler and any brushless setup, it would do the same thing.

I think the problem is there's a lack of deadband or way to adjust deadband on the TQ radio. Soooo try recalibrating the ESC and make sure the neutral point is set more towards the throttle side (ever so slightly).

yes, i have the stock TX, i will try that and let you guys know

Ok. It may not fix it 100%, but it may help a little bit. Another note, try setting the trim tab a little bit before 0 (so more toward brake), and hold the trigger down ever so slightly for throttle so you can get the ESC to recognize the neutral position.

You're basically going to have to mess with the trigger and "trick" the ESC into seeing neutral and/or dead space where it's not really supposed to.

i have resetted the ESC, making sure i had the right neutral and everything, and i drove it around my room , and it hasnt done it since but i havnt drove it outside yet so far, thanks for the help huys:D oh, and what do you guys think of the intellspeeds? i havnt noticed alot more acceleration with it, even with the stock 23t pinion that WONT come off

I don't have experience with the intellispeeds, but I do have experience with a duratrax streak, and it was one TOUGH ESC. I over volted it and ran motors I wasn't supposed to run on it and it kept chugging along. Essentially I abused it pretty well. I put it in my friend's boat (which is, for some reason, in my room...?).

What motor are you running with your ESC anyways (that apparently has a 23t pinion stuck on there permanently)?

it is the stock titan 12t(i know i need to get a new one) , and so far it has made my rustla alot faster and the ESC hasnt even got warm yet even when my battery pack was hot to the touch

So it's geared for what traxxas would say is a speed run then huh? Not too shabby; I've read that a lot of people, over all, like the new XL-5 Rustlers and 'Pedes. They're supposed to be pretty zippy too.:D (You may want to monitor your batteries if they get hot... Warm is fine, but if they're blazing hot, they're not up to the task of handling the titan motor  )

no, they gave me an extra 26t pinion i think it is, and that one is supposed to eb the "speed" one

Oh. Nevermind then! The biggest pinion I've used on a Rustler was 23 with an 87 tooth spur, and that's with my MM5700. I'm kinda curious as to how the 12t titans perform. I may pick one up just for fun and see what it can do. At the very least, I'll stick it in my friend's boat...he's due for a decent motor.

it performs pretty good IMO but i havnt had a racing motor yet, so people are probly gonna say it sucks so whatever

Wait till you experience brushless... You have MUCH to look forward to if you ever decide to go that route.;)

try turning the throttle trim knob down so you 'just' cant hear anything.
