View Full Version : Anybody running R/C's in the snow?

I am, it's to much fun not too. Seal up your electronics best you can with plastic and tape, do an inspection after each run, and don't run if you don't want to take the risk of getting something wet.

That said, I've been running my stuff in the snow for years and nothing has happened.

I always drive my trucks in the snow. I only sealed the seams of my tmaxx's servos since I swapped them out. I don't do anything else to any of my trucks. I just blow all the snow off when I am done and put the truck in a rubbermaid container in a warm room. Packing tape works great on the bottom of my Jato. It slides through the snow effortlessly and its easy to clean the snow off.
I fried a "water proof" esc in the snow first use and exchanged for a tekin titan and fried it 2 years later in the snow :cool: It did better without the special case I made for it.

awwwwwww........ i want snow.... i saw the first snow of the Season in my town (if i wanted snow id drive 40 miles to a ski resort)... but i want to run i my backyard..

Awesome pics.. and nice rides.
