im looking for a part number for the old Porsche 993 turbo body. it would have been produced up until around 1998-1999, when the 996 cars came out and their design changed slightly.

btw, a 993 would be a porsche 911 produced between 1993 and 1998. has roundish headlights, unlike the 996 that has the goofy boxter looking headlights.

so yeah, i want one of these bodies, and a part number would make my search a bit easier

I just did a quick check of tower, and all I got were the 996 bodies. Someone might have it on sale on fleabay or stored away in a LHS, but HPI doesn't make it anymore. :(

been there, its kinda hard to scour ebay without a part number tho, because HPi has made a lot of different "porsche 911" bodies lol, and when i search for 993 i get nothing.

if they would make a damn 997 body already that would probably work, but at the moment i kinda have my heart set out on a 993

Looked through some of my old HPI catalogs, HPI had two Porsche bodies they made in late nineties #7085 Turbo 911 (180mm) and #7038 911 GT1 (200mm).

Good Hunting

Here is a pic of the 911 Turbo from 1999 catalog. The GT1 body is still available.
