well went to the LHS yesturday to pick up my micro-T...and left with a 8ight RTR...tore it down and did the diffs. last night put in my DX 2.0 and my JR 9000T steering servo and put the spektrum high torq metal gear servo on the throttle...the stock 427 runs pretty good also (not as peppy/fast as my proto) though...will also swap out my jp-1 pipe :D

I raced against a Losi 8ight today (first time ive ever seen it) and it is amazing.. so stable, the best buggy there is, there was also a Team Magic M1B but the Losi was better, cannot believe how much better this thing is than anything else.

hha it seems that everytime i read about you going to get a simple thing, you come out with a new kit or something. i'm yet to drive the 8ight but let us know how you like it.

Ok, I'm only taking 90 bucks to the hobby store today... There's no way I can walk out with an 1/8 buggy now. Take THAT LHS!:p (I'm going to get tires... so that means I'll end up with like, a body, more wheels, another set of tires, and some stupid doohickeys I don't need....oy!)

i loved it! I picked up 1.5 secs on my laps in STOCK form...havent even tore into the diffs yet! and ran the stock pipe ,shock springs and all!!! putting my JP-1 on this week as well as 5k 7k 3k in the diffs. hopefully pick up some more lap time! it handels so WELL!! its not even funny how much better this car drives compared to others I have owned (hyper7,jammin x1cr,proto)...the stock motor isnt the FASTEST but hey gets the job done will also be puting in a vspec here soon!

Yeah the 8ight is absurd.... it is the most stable car i have ever seen and my god does it handle, my super dialed in Mp777 SP2 seemed abit sluggish when i was racing.. (i won though :D)... hope you have fun with it, i want one too, i wish i had some random 600 bucks in my pocket and just happen to go to the LHS!
