Batteries....hmm?........

i run a T3 with a spike esc and a krauppy motor i plan to upgrade to a p2k. should i get new batteries since i am running 1500's now. i dont plan to race but more run time is great. also what is the difference between the 50 dollar 3000 batteries and the 8 dollar ones?

I used to run P2K with 1500 Piranha battery. I had a pretty good run time and speed. But now I am running 12T motor, and if I use the 1500 mah battery, I can only get 2-3 minutes of running time.

i'll prolly go with 2400's

You need a good charger in order for you to charge such good batteries.

The $8 batteries are usually 1500 mAH and less, which means half the run time of the 3000. Unless you have a top-end charger, stick with Ni-Cads (2000 is a great choice for you).
