Hey guys. Which car do you think is better? The X X X or the X X X T? What hop ups should I get for each of them? I am deciding on one of them. I just want to know what hopups to get for them first. I want aluminum, titanium, graphite, and any other types of hop ups available. Please contact me at derekjlewis@hotmail.com

THANKS!!

Hey man chill with the XXXT and the XXX questions, you only need one! If your not getting any answers its because most ppl don't have an answers, i have a XXXT and im still look for some more hop-ups! Give it some time and Losi should have a full line of hop-ups to choose from.

First off the is a BIG difference between a truck and a buggy!!! I think the buggy is much more fun but the truck can take more of a beating. All Losi cars are really good and I wouldnt say the XXXT is any better than the XXX. The point is that a truck is a truck and a buggy is a buggy. Never will you see them racing in the same class(except in novice) If your going to ask a question like that then ask something like, which is better Losi or AE?
Just my 2 cents

Whoa!!

You are a live one!

Do you plan to race?

If so, I would head out to the local track, and see which classes are most popular.

Trucks are a little easier to drive, and are generally easier to get hooked up than a car.

The only 'hop-ups'(I really don't like that term)that I run are Titanium tierods, and Titanium ballstuds. You might also want to look into getting the aluminum pivot block BRACES. Not the entire block, just the brace. They run about $8.

Save your money on tires, batterys, chrager, and a quality transmitter.

See ya.....

when you do get the ti-ballstuds, get the robinson ones, i hear titanuim ones are more brittle then the steel, but the robison ones seem to be much thicker near the points of bending and snapping.

i also suggest a graphite rear pivot plate, the stock one can break, and make your tranny get real loose. the AE ones have a metal version. but it really takes a beating on most tracks.

also try the new dirt spec tires, i found them to have MUCH more grip, and they last alot longer, people at my track started to try to use em, and they all had grins on their faces. get em before they raise the price (the comound costs more to make, so they might raise the price, but who knows)
