Integy recomends dischargeing Ni-MH cells to get rid of faulse peak charges. This is the product they recomend you use. And eventually they siad it will incerese internal voltage..

I discharge my 3000 packs after every charge. I just make sure to keep the voltage from getting too low. Then after the discharge I do a partial charge if I'm not going to be running the pack for a while. Seems to work for me, I love the dependability of my 3000 packs.

I've discharged my 3000's with my Apex. I wanted to see how many MAH's they could hold. I think I'd discharge them every 6 weeks or so to check on their condition.

I do a discharge/charge cycle on my NiMH before running my car...
