When Discharging Your Batteries, How Many Amps Is Everyong Discharging Them At 0.9?????????????
Thanks

Actually, that number(0.9 by default) is the voltage cutoff, not the discharge load. I believe the Smart Tray discharges at something like 2.7 amps, & the 0.9 is what voltage it'll stop at for each cell. That being said, I've experimented with setting down to about 0.5 volts, but for the current batches of 4200mah cells, it seems they are best off with using 0.9 volts(I'm told they're a bit sensitive to overdischarging, so it's best to take it easy).....

I use a Spintec discharger that discharges my batteries at 35amps. It does'nt do a constant discharge that will heat up your packs. It uses short pauses during the discharge cycle to keep the pack cool. I have seen an improvement in the capacity my packs will hold and also my run times since using this discharger. I also have it set to stop discharging at 5.4volts which is supposed to be 0.9 volts per cell. I know alot of people that discharge their packs with this then use the Smart tray to better equalize them because the Spintec does'nt actually monitor each cell.
