I think Thunder Tech makes a chassis with a bell crank. The bell crank will help alot with bump steer

dont get the arms, just get the front bulk heads. Cause when you hit something, metal dont break it bends. And I myself would rather replace and arm than a bulk head. Cause bulkheads are a pain. But get what you want. The only thing I am getting from GPM soon is the Front Bulkheads, and the Front Skid and Bumper. Those are the only parts I think anybody really needs. Everything else is just to look bad (bad as in good). But get what you want. I am not here to decide for you. :)

i would highly suggest that u reconsider the gpm stuff, i know it looks very cool, however he has a good point, when you hit something, something is going to give, here is what i suggest:

-if you want cool, then check out the thundertech outlaw chassis, go to rcmt.net or .org to find out more.

-the big bores are a great idea

-rpm everything,

-a better servo, i like the hityec 615 for $40 its a steal. my friend runs one in his 1/8 buggy and its great, i run it in my gt and it works great too.

-i had the mashers 2k's on my pede before i sold it, great, but i traction rolled alot.

-a good motor if u dont have it already then get a speedgem 17t sahpire, fast and torquey, and you dont have to rebuilt it that much,

-also if u havent gotten an esc yet, then i suggest a tekin rebel, tekin lacks customer support like novak, however comapirecd to the rooster its alot better.

-also instead of getting the steel outdrives i would suggest cvds, they are much easier to work on the car with, i have never had any problems with cvds. i run them in many different types of rc's from tc's to my gt.

-also for the springs, i highly recommedn you dont get the tmaxx ones, unless you are just planning to jump buildings.
its a pretty common misonception that the stiffer the spring the better. espically with a pede that rolls easily i would say actually go softer then stock unless yo uare doing alot of jumping.

anything else? if so please respond so i can help u out, since i have gone through buying uselesss hop ups. i acutally bought gpm hub carriers and knuckles all around for my tc3, i ended up going back to stock since they ended up to be very sloppy.

it corrects the stock bump steer, and is also all around better, however i dont know if its more of less durable then stock, i would check out rcmt.net to find out.

just so you know, bottoming out on jumps isnt a bad thing, infact its good. the stampede is very top heavy, and if you go only anything but onroad, and even more asphault you will flip very easily, since the suspenion isnt able to do its job.

what springs and shocks are u running now?

Yeah Thunderteck makes a graphtie chassie and it looks trick. It is a little expensive though, about a 100 bucks, but your car will oove you for it! U will probably be tyhe only one at the track with it too!!!

i have resconsidered the gpm parts espcially because i have made some mods to my arms, i want the springs cause i love jumping, i want the castor blocks cuz i have broken them 3 or 4 time already.i think the outlaw is alittle pricey is it anygood?????

I would say stay away from the aluminum arms. They look really cool but they bend. I have yet to bust one of the stock ones. One thing you may want to consider is the wide bumper from RPM. Its cheap and tough. It'll save the front of your body. I don't know how fast you want to go, but for a 19 turn the Chameleon is a great combo of speed and run time. I'll be curious to hear about the mashers, I'm still running stock tires. Enjoy the Pede-It rocks :D

My pede never bottoms out, like never. And it never did even when I had the stock shocks on it. I have Associated Teflon shocks on it now and it doesn't bottom out. How tall are you jumping it? Cause I did a 20 foot jump with mine and it didn't bottom out (with stock shocks).

Get the MIP CVD's.RPM heavy duty camber links. RPM ESC mount. The rest you is good except the aluminum arms because since its aluminum you have to be very careful bending it back because it could break.

I got a newbie question, what the heck is bump steer? And I'm guessing this is a bad thing?

first i will explain toe in, its how many degrees the wheels are facing inward, think of your feet as wheels, if you move your toes forward but keep your heel in the same place, its toe in, same thing with rc's however, the thing that stay constant is the axil.

so.... bumpsteer is basically is toe in from when the suspenion compresses, this is bad since toe in changes the direction of the wheel. this basically makes it steer from the bumps, thus bump steer.
