okay, I'm about to go and get set up with some matched cells and a good charger to replace my cheesy ones I already had when I got my TC3. My question is which do you guys prefer? NiCad or NIMH? what experiences do you have, and what kind of care is needed for each kind. Second, what kind of charger do you guys recommend for charging them. I know they need a dif type of charger. I just want to do this as informed as I can be so that I don't wind up with a bunch of stuff I don't want that isn't interchangeable. I'm in high school, so big time spending isn't in my future for a long time so think of it as your hard earned pennies going too. thanks all

I believe most NiMh chargers will charge NiCd's so you'd be pretty safe there.

As for batteries, it'd depend on what you were racing. (Assuming you're racing.) If you're using like 13 turn motors and lower, I'd prob go for the NiMh's now. If you're just running stock motors or thereabouts and don't plan to run low winds for a couple of years, I'd go NiCd's. (Assuming the NiCd's are cheaper.. if they were the same price, I'd go the NiMh's anyway..)

either batteries are excellent... i'd go with the NiMH for some serious racin... but, you wont get the punch you'd need from NiCd
