The new battery on the block looks to make a splash for '07. The EP4200 racing cell is here and looks to be a threat to the status of the best R/C race battery on the market. I have used these new batteries and have nothing but rave reviews on these cells. They are producing great voltage with super low IR numbers making these things increadible for stock and 19T racing. The 4200mah rating mean you have tons of runtime to spare in mod classes.

If you have used or heard anything about these batteries please post your comments. If you have not tried them yet, give them a strong consideration for your next battery purchase. They have very similar performance specs to the IB cells but they seem to be more durable and keep there high level of performance for a longer period of time which makes them a better value.

I would like to hear what others have to say about this battery or answer any questions anyone may have about them! :)

It sounds like you have had something to do with their production. You should try to get this into the new stuff forum if they are so revolutionary.

I have just used them. Did not do anything to produce them. The Mags are starting to cover the cell. R/C Driver has an article in the lastest edition on this new battery and RC Car will have a little blurb about it soon. Just trying to increase awareness of this new cell.

Check with www.promatchracing.com as well, they say they are a durable cell with virtually no venting or shorting (Something the IB cells have been finicky about).

Speedzone doesn't like them:

They were working with about 3 other companies sign the exclusive import rights to the cell. They did not sign in time and are upset. Another company got the import rights to these cells so they stopped carrying them. EP is making a great product.
