hey, im buying a team tc3 next monday or tuesday. I'v got two 2400 packs, one 2000, and one 1800. Now theyre are four races at out track each weekend. And i want to run a Modefied motor. i dont care about running out of juice in the first two races using the 1800 and 2000. But in the 3rd heat, and the a-main im using the 2400 packs.
so should i buy a 11t double or 10t double Reedy Pulse Motor?
thanks
And on other ??????? can 28mm tires fit on these rims: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?Q=1&I=LXPA14&P=7

You should get the 11 turn. This will give you good run time with the 2400s although will be close with the others. You will have to adjust gearing depending on which pack you are running.
Just keep in mind that you are going to be slower than other drivers using 3000s and hotter motors.
Also keep Peak's Stratos motor in mind. It is machine wound, reasonably priced and uses the same components as the Aurora and Nebula hand ound motors.

hey, at our track, it isnt like a real track, at the most iv seen 5 people showed up for electrics. most of the time its like 2 or 3 people. and jimmy said they run 11 or 10s down there and to stick with a 2400 becuase youll still have plenty of run time and more punch, hes been into electrics for 14 years and most of the time out races the compittion when he does race, he uses a 11 turn triple.
o well thanks!

I would recommend 12-14 turns. Easier to maintain, easier to learn. You'll get longer run times, which means more track time for you, which means you'll learn to drive faster.

not really, i ran a 14 turn in my buggy last year and it was slower than dirt. you dont run 12-14 mods in a touring car class. ya ill get the run time and with the 10 turn i still get the run time.
11 or 10 that is the question.
