What's your fastest Rustler setup?

I love ripping around the yard with my Rustler. I'm going on and off of pavement, gravel, wood chips, short grass, a jump I made...

However, I am running too hot. I didn't note exactly what I am running, but it doesn't matter for my question, which is...

What is the fastest motor / gear ratio you have found for your Rustler, without running the motor too hot?

Well, i bet your a speed freak huh? Then your prob is your overgearing. The Stock spur on the rustler and a 16 - 18 tooth pinion works great, on mine i have a 10 turn speed gems 2, with this gearing and it works great, not to much heat. If you want even less heat pick upsome machined tranny gears and a ball diff so that your tranny rolls as free as possible.
