Question for anybody : Does anyone make a pc program for some sort of a motor dyno setup? Something that would actually have a sensor to be connected directly into the usb port. I realize this is probably not possible because a pc would not have any way to power up the motor or put a load on it and such but I thought maybe someone might know of something similar. Also, it would be nice if you could be able to print the readings then. ??????????

Only one brand of dyno is available no from Fantom, that hooks into a regular PC but runs off power from a electic power supply or 12volt battery. The PC hookup and software that it comes with allows you to see graphs, save tests for comparison, uses a gearing formula based on motor test, track size etc. The others that were discontinued Competition Electronics Turbo Dyno, LaVco, Robitronic, CSR started coming with serial ports to connect to PCs.
Some of motor checkers Trinity, Much More, Orion etc are not actual dynos but a few if them are available with USB connections for saving data to PC.
