Hi All.

Compliments to the season to those of you who I havent seen or spoke to over the season.

Anyway.....

Can someone please tell me if a one way diff in my schumacher MI2 would up my lap times? I know the theory behind it and all but will it be faster.

I have a standard car but just can't get ahead. Another bloke has the same stock car but he's about 1.5 seconds faster on the track than mine. it's a mate of mine so I know the setup is the same as his. The driver factor is also out because I've raced his and mine and got the same difference.

The only difference is the one way diff he has in the front. Could it make that big difference??? :roll2:

What else can I do to make my car faster. I have a good ESC and battery pack but just can't get faster. What hop-ups would be the best value for money.

Please help.....

I think it depends on driving style, if you know about entry points, proper braking and lines one ways are good, if you are a point and shoot driver meaning you run it in as hard as you can, brake hard then straigten out and mash it you would probably be better off with a tight ball diff or even a spool in the front, some other guys may be able to elaborate but this is just my experience with one ways in the front of 4wd cars, some guys run one ways on the rear but I really don't like this, spool it if you can for the best off corner drive.

One-way diffs, Good for on-road drivers, coming off corners. Dont see any advantage with off-roader's. Aggressive driver has an advantage, cuz the grip it produces off the corner and it staigthen out...
Off road you need the diff to work cuz the changing of terrian. Maybe a little tighter on the rear diff, for it to take off straighter.
