So will this be a spring series, or what?

2brothersraceway is kind of a joke, the onsite hobby shop is close to dead. I would suggest contacting Tim with A-Main raceway and Home town hobbies, they have a kick a$$ track in Canby.

I would assume this will be a spring thing, 2brothers is flooded right now, you could run a boat on it right now, lol.

TQ

Ya I Know I want to do A-Main.....BUT....I want to give smaller tracks a place to SHINE. And I know canby rocks, raced the last two RCP Races there, just want to let other tracks have the torch....and well I am hoping they run with it :) And also the series will be spread out over the year so people on a budget can race nct, RC Pro NW and the state RCPS with out droping lots of money at one time.

I understand wanting to highlight some smaller tracks, but I feel that 2Brothers and Aero are kind of dropping the ball. I am not one to reward shops and tracks that dont really give a darn.

Well from the way the guy from 2 brothers is saying that it will be at there other track, not the aero hobbies track.

don't know who you are but how do you fell that I don't give a dam about what happens. yes the shop is small but works off of out of pocket not some big creidit line.
Yes the track is flodded right now so is every other outdoor track in oregon.
canby track is up to the driver's stand in water can't see the track. Yes I was planning on holding this race at are Beavercreek track not Aero to get peps out there.

I understand all outdoor tracks are flooded right now. This is why just before stating that I said I would assume it will be in the spring.

It was also my slip up by saying 2brothers does not care, what I ment to say is Aero, I know the ship is a out of pocket shop, but when I cam into the hobby 5 years ago that shop and track where huge, the Stock nationals where even held there (I raced in it) but it has all kind of gone down hill. Now a good track my help bring it back.

OK
But I took over the track after there being nothing there for 3 years.
give me some creidit were it's do. No one else wanted to bring it back.and yes the nat's were there I also raced in them. so why can't there more big events there.

There can be, and I hope there will be. The track is very nice (the size is great) and I like what you had done with it. I would have raced there during the summer, had I not moved.

I hope that some good turn outs at the track will inspire the shop to get back in gear, it has taken them 3 weeks to order me some parts for my xx-4. lol

Personally not sure why the shop owner did not revive the track, lots of money to be had in the shop with a working track right outside.

Well I wish you the best of luck with the track, sorry for the missunderstanding, I am glad some one picked up the track, if I was able to I would have tried, I just did not have the electronics to do so nor the money to get the electronics. And I hope to be out there racing this spring.

Hopfully the track will help get the shop on its feet again.

I give the 2 Brothers crew major props for all they have done to revive the racing in the portland metro area. At one point in time they were the only track to go to, and the staff for the races are always nice and welcoming to all racers. And if im correct, they do the opposite of most raceways and support other tracks too. Top quality sportsmanship, they dont deserve their misfortune with the rain.
