I have an old 1:10 Lazer-Lite electric pan style road car (has anyone heard of it?) that I'd like to get a little more traction with over the foam tires it comes with, but I have no idea whats out there in the rubber slick tire market.
The rear bolt pattern appear to be 4x1"(maybe just a hair over 1"?), and the front is just a post with C-ring.
FWIW the front wheel is 1" wide by 1.75" dia
the rear is 1.75" wide x2" dia
Thanks!

Mostly what you are going to find that will fit that car are foam tires. But, with traction additive you will get great traction on asphalt. I run foams exclusively on my TC3 on asphalt, but I have to use traction additive.

They only thing you can run is foams. There are cap tires but they don't provide no were near as much traction. Here we run anything as sofr or softer then a pink in the rear and usually a fairly hard front tire to try and compinsate for the oversteer that pan cars have. To get the most traction you will need to use a traction compound. Paragon Ground Effects is what we use and from what I have heard the rest of the traction compounds don't compare at all.

Yep, Paragon is what I use too, I just couldn't remember the name of it.
Ahh, the wonderful odor of wintergreen...

HELLO, i googled to find this topic! well could you tell me whats a good foam tire for the tc3 on ASPHALT. do people really run foam on asphalt or rubber is better . my local track has lots of grip and rubber seems good but i like foam better because there ready to run with no need to balance or properly gluing.
can you help whats good also if tower hobbies Carry's?

Nothing will hook like properly additive-treated foams.

Pick your hardness, and off you go.

I know Jaco tires are typically thought of as 'the' foam tire for competition for the masses, GRP's line of 28mm foams are priced very reasonably and work well for newbs (to foam tires) like myself to get used to them and test them out without breaking the bank. I got two sets of cyans for the price of one set of Jacos. I don't know if they are of the same quality, but for experimenting, not racing, and bashing, they make sense.
