Ive been looking around for a new stock motor (27t) for either a T4 or a B4, and I cannot decide. What stock motors have you purchased or used, and how were they? So far the best luck I have had was with a Reedy MVP, and a Trinity P2k pro. Any reccomendations? Thanks!

Definitely try the Co27(Trinity's latest, comes in a deep blue can). Excellent balance of rpm & torque, & better yet, it stays cooler than most of the others over the course of a race, so it doesn't drop off in performance late in a race(& the general power band is pretty similar to the P2K 2 & MVP, so gearing should be an easy adjustment).....

t4 i would use the co27 pro tuned. But for the b4 the epic x is a real good buggy motor.

I would definitely try out the CO27!

I am just getting back into the R/C thing from about 12 years ago. Back then I had one of the RC10's. I never had to worry about motors getting to hot back then, but now everything has changed. Batteries last longer and are higher power, motors are different, etc. Anyway, last month I went and bought a losi xxxcr kit. The LHS guy that sold me the kit told me the CO27 would be an awsome stock motor for racing. He also suggested I go with a 21 tooth pinion gear to go along with the 78 tooth spur gear that comes with the kit. So being a noob, I used all the above when building the kit. I was really impressed. The other guys at the track kept asking me if I had a modified motor cause the car would fly. Well little attention did I pay to how hot the motor was getting after each run (approx. 20 mins). Yep, the third time I ran the car, I was flying down the straight away and pow!!!! Smoke started pouring out of the back of my car. One of the other guys grabbed his digital thermometer and checked the motor. OUCH! 280 degrees. That motor was fried! Any way what I'm getting at is if your not a noob like me and pay attention to your gearing and all, the CO27 totally kicks butt! Apparently it can take a little abuse too as I am sure the motor was reaching those temps the first two runs too.

Good luck with what ever you get!
