i think you need to use a 28 tooth pinion
but not completely sure, your kit should have a chart of what pinions to use in the manual

28 sounds kinda big.
I am no expert, but I would start smaller and work your way up. If you are tight on cash you can buy just even or just odd sizes. Having every single tooth may not be necessaey for novice or even intermediate racers.
I would start with 24, then 26, and maybe even 28, but like I said, that sounds a bit high.
Anyone else ?

With a 28 pinion on my TC3 and a MVP motor, I can pass nitros on the straights. :p

RC Freak,
The stock spur gear in a Factory Team T3 is an 87t. With a stock motor, you should be using a 20t Pinion Gear. The 24-28t Pinion Gears that were recommended are a little on the high side for a 87t spur.
I run a P2K with 20/87 and it runs great.

no kidding...... a 28 is WAYYYYY too big.... you would bake the entire electrical system with gearing that high.... (and the pinion wouldn't fit ANYWAYS)
run a 20 or 21.... no larger...
peace out... :)
