I was wondering if there will be a difference if you use different bodies? Also, if there is a difference, which one is the best. Thanks.

normally, 190 mm is for 1/10 electric
200 mm is for 1/10 nitro.
if you convert your TC3 into rally, than you might need 200 mm body.
but yes of course you can fit 200 mm into your TC3, although it's going to look a little bit funny... :p :D

You misunderstood me. I was wondering if differenet bodies can make a car go faster or something.

Faster? Not exactly. But they can alter the way the car handles, the shape of them(its aerodynamics) sometimes can make the difference in a car being stable or out of control. For example, the reason why soooo many racers use the Stratus body is because it seems to be one of the most balanced of them all(in other words, it's very neutral, good front & rear downforce), while others, like the Protoform Accord, have less rear wing & a slanted nose, which can give it a lot of steering(if you need the steering, if not then it may make your car unstable). Other bodies that I consider to be pretty stable are the 300M & the Vauxhall Vectra(both by Protoform). If you have a body that you're interested in, let us know, & we'll try to give you an idea how it handles..... :)

Faster? Better Handling? yes there is a difference actually. on the TC3 the Chrysler 300m body is the most aerodynamic and it is the 'fastest' if u wanna put it that way. The Dodge Stratus is the best handling body out there for the TC3. The Honda Accord body is kinda in between the 2. hope this helps.

Which is the best overall?

It depends on what you are looking for. If you race under ROAR rules, you are limited as to which bodies you can use. If you don't have body restrictions, and you are looking for aerodynamics, I'd suggest something like the Acura NSX or a Corvette. I have not used those because I have to run ROAR bodies, but from what I have read they have very good aerodynamics.

Actually, a 190mm can make you go faster since its smaller and wieghs less. Plus, most of the 190 bodies have been wind tunnel tested and optimized using a Hiezenburg optimizers. Don't let the others fool you, 190 is like 200% faster.

oopss sorry the yawn, i thought you meant scale/realistic purpose.
for racing, i use modena 360 190mm, i don't know if we can use it at ROAR, though.

Another factor is what surface you race on, and there are also around 6 different Stratus bodies.

Andy's Stratus
Yokomo Stratus
Yokomo Type B (aka Carpet Stratus)
Losi Stratus
ProtoForm Stratus
Frewer Stratus

To me, I feel that the Protoform is the best all around body. For carpet, the Yok Type B is all by itself.

For asphalt, the Yok, Andy's, and Losi Stratus are a little more aggresive, and in that order, with the Losi being the more neutral of the three.

I have not run the Frewer body yet, but from the ones I have looked at, it seems very agressive in the front, and the rear deck it pretty short which should = lots of high and low speed front downforce.

Nice to see some quality tech on this board.

The Yokomo stratus's is a andys body that Yokomo sells it says so on the site.

Yes, Andy's Racing manugactures the bodys for Yokomo, however the bodies are slightly different. The body that is sold by Andy's is different than the one they make for Yokomo.

Andy's also makes the Losi body, but the rear quarters are a little taller on the Losi body.
