You might want to cut it again. With all those gouges in the comm, I wouldn't run it until you cut it again. For the brush mishap, don't worry everyone makes mistakes.

Question yourself? How mant times you change the brushes? Twice? 3times? After three i would put the comm on the lathe. Depending on brush compound (hard or soft). More to it then just replacing brushes! huh!!

my experience with the revolutions is that those brushes can outlast the comm by 2-3 times. if you buy silver brushes than all you need to do is cut it. my buddy's v2 lasts a set of brushes all season, and he only hast to cut it 4 or five times.

THe brushes do last a long time in those motors. I would definately have that comm cut because of all those gouges in the comm.

If you look REALLY close, there is a bit of hourglassing also.
I'd cut it...
