Just get a Deans 2 pin connector in between(i use it, not the least resistance, but i like the convinience) or just run it straight to the motor, ditch the bullet plugs

lower tooth pinon or higher tooth spur or both. Dont continue running your motor so it gets too hot. I melted a Trinity monstors of Touting motor.....

I dont still dont know if it is coming from the connectors or gears. Also my car seems to be making like a high pitched squeal or something. I cant tell where it is coming from. Any suggestions? http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

If your hearing a squeal then something is binding up. Take the pinion gear off, then spin the drive train by hand. Dose it spin free with no binding? If so then turn on the truck(with pinion still off) and give it some throttle. If you hear the noise then its the motor. It probably needs a good cleaning and oil on the bushings. Try that and let us know the results.

My drive shaft moves freely and it is not my motor. But when I adjust my slipper sometimes it seems to go away. Also the faster I seem to go the louder it gets. like when I put in my 2000 and it did it a little, but when I put my 2400 in It got faster and louder. I cant quite put my finger on it.

Well if the drivetrane is OK and the motor dosnt make a noise w/the pinion off then its possible that the slipper is set to loose. If so it would be just spinning and only putting a little power to the wheels. This would give you the squealing sound and over heat the motor.

Hey Thanks guys! Um one more Q. I am only 11 so I dont know that much but I know quite a bit about R/C. But what I was wondering is What does it mean to get your comm cut and how do u know when u need your motor trued? At what does this do for u? http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif
Also be sure to adjust the pinion/spur gear mesh correctly. If you are not sure how to do it place a strip of paper between the pinion and the spur - "press them together "-
tighten the motor srews and remove the paper strip. This should give you the correct gear mesh. Also check if the gears are not already stripped. If they are replace them.
Also excessive motor heat can come from worn brushes (they shouldn´t be less than have their original lenght)or a worn com.
At last if you run your car just for fun and brake and accelarate a lot you motor will overheat as well - all the same how smooth your drivetrain is or how your car is geared.
