thats a good price for the ini z, considering their somewhat new. the mini z would be a better choice over the canned heat(I haven't tried the canned heat, but i think any thing tyco is pure junk( i had 3 before i got a real rc))

At tower hobbies u can get the mini Z for about 140.00 i think. I would get the mini z. I used to have tycos and if they broke you cant fix them. Usually you have to have them sent back to the manufacture to get them fixed.

I got a canned heat for like 20$ and it does drive around the house ok but its boring after a while and if you have plush carpet for get it. I'd say just get a clod or something big and slow that is electric would be great for in the house. I even drove my T-maxx in the house real quick intil my mom smelled the nitro and heard a loud noise from upstairs. Thats when you drive it outside as fast as possible! It's not the best idea though.

Canned heat is a lot of fun.....only bad thing about it is that you cant change crystals in it....it is slower thatn MINIz but it has more torq....and anyway ...miniz is also gonna be boring after a while...just get urself Canned heat and mess with it...

$165 is a little high for the mini-z. I have seen it at hobby shops for $149.

i have had many a canned heat, AND a miniz. i can say that i have made canned heats go as fast as miniz's. they are VERY durable and alot of fun. you can always get better motors, and make a ton of mods (i have) to the chasis and everything. email me, stormperson@hotmail.com i am thinking of selling a huge upgrade booklet (over the interenet) for around $5. i have gone through literally 6 of these things finding out what works and doesnt.

It's a tiny Tyco about the size of a hand that's 'SLOW AS DEATH.' But for indoor just messing around they are pretty cool. My friend has a lime green VW Bug. But he wants a Dodge Ram or something like that. It has like a disk controller and it runs on AA batteries, R_C_MAN. Hope I helped ya!
