Well if you can't get the end bell off its probably a stock motor (27 turns) However if the
end bell can come off sometimes motor company stamp the armatures or engrave it somewhere on the can. And if your motor
doesn't have a end bell it's a Johnson silver can stocker.

Well if its a really old motor i wouldnt risk using it. Have you don any changes on it? like change the brushes or clean it at all? or have u not driven it enough for it to need new brushes? well if its a rebuildable motor take it apart and check everything out. Do u at least know what KIND of motor it is? If it is really old i would invest in a new motor. If you race you will need a new competitive motor that will keep up with the pack. Do u drive Mod. or stock? If Mod. I would go with the Reedy Ti or Reedy Pulse R. If stock then I would go with Trinity P2K pro or a Reedy MVP. good luck.
