Have you been using the ball diff long? It might still be breaking in. Also, the threads in the diff could be stripped out from overtightening.

well to be honest, with the motor combination you are using , nothing but a locked center diff. will work. I've had really bad luck with Mip Diff.. But beleive it or not the Losi ball diff is better.. both not great.. I tried the 3Racing diff for the front diff = huge waste of money, gear melted in one 5 min race.. I run my with the 5400kv I dont burn out the ball diffs or stock gears in the F/R diffs

nowadays..i tightened the center ball diff once / 3days...

its bad...

i tried center spool.

but... real gear is gone....

i have to change the center gear to normal bevel gears..and

get the new metal gears from losi maybe on january and use centerdiff....:)

Try taking the entire differential out and turning it around 180 degrees so that if the screw head is towards the front, it will be towards the rear. Or if it's towards the rear now, make it towards the front. Make sure to take the whole diff out and turn it around though. DO NOT simply remove the screw and put it on the other side. It doesn't work.
