Anyways, I need to choose a color. And to find a way to paint aluminum. Any ideas?
No. No pictures. for now. :)

Don't know what color you want, but I do know you can use a scotch bright pad in a circular motion and then spray some chrome down to get a brushed aluminum look. You might also be able to mix some silver with a tad of blue or purple, and then add some black to darken the color.

That will take a while. I'm already using some reasonable amount of bondo. So, it won't be light. BTW, there is any kind of hobby-grade paint for use with aluminium? I mean, hobby primer? :D

No, my shell is built entirely in aluminum. :)

Use Zinc Chromate primer only for Aluminum! -Green, like that used on the inside of aircraft-. Otherwise, it'll peel off at first opportunity. Make sure you wear a respirator with this stuff...as it's a wicked nasty poison.
