What kind of HOP UPS could I get?

Traxxas is not just for newbies (a poor term to use) but also for people who just want to have fun and not have to worry about all the set-up required to run a race vehicle. Look at how long Tamiya has been around making vehicles for just that purpose. And if you knew your history, you'd know that Traxxas has had championship race vehicles in the past. Personally I have always liked most Traxxas vehicles because they are fun and durable and don't need years of experience to use.

As far as hop-ups go, buy anything that will make it more durable. Nothing more annoying than buying parts that break or wear out. If you don't have full bearings, get that.
