The chargers have 2 outputs: One standard tamiya connector, and a set of bannana-style connectors (tower has some atachments you can use to charge receiver packs and such)

Hope this helped!

I hope this is the charger you are refering to. It has clips on the front for different plugs. It comes with a kyosho plug, but it seems to work with my tamiya-plug batteries.

Which one? I have the Piranha - you mostly make your own charging leads besides the tamiya one supplied with it. To charge rx pacs, buy a servo extension and cut the end off you don't need. Strip back the insulation about 3/8" and tin the wires - charge adapter for rx batt. Do similar for a glow plug adapter (cut it off old wall type plugin charger). Buya dean male plug and take two pieces of good insluated wire about 4" - deans charing adapter.

Are you asking about charging a batt - what settings to use on the charger?

I'm looking to buy the black digital charger.
Will it charge my GP1100's, 5 cell hump packs and 7 cell GP3300's?
Good charger?

It sure will charge those batteries. Just make sure you have the correct adapter/plug thing. I have heard nothing but good about this charger. Tower has one in Scratch and Dent under flight line and track for $12 less because of box damage. Tower scratch and dent (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTS1000p?&C=P) .

Solid charger, its the one I started with - it charges everything, AAs, glow starters, rx and tx pacs, pretty much any size stick pack. On AC its limited to 3 amps, but DC will charge at 5a. It comes with a tamiya conn - you'll need to make any others you'll need. RX and TX pacs - buy a servo extension and cut the end off, strip a small piece on each wire, tin with solder and instant rx, tx charging adapter. Old glow ingiter charger - cut end off and do same thing. Take a few inches of good wire and a male deans conn, now you have a deans charging adapter.

Even though I move on to an ICE charger, I kept mine and still use it when ICE is busy and I need something else.

Duster - If you could get the Duratrax or a used Tekin BC112 for the same price, which would you get?

Got the Dura charger today. I didn't realize how much smaller it is - Nice!
How should I set it up to charge my 5 cell hump packs? I mean what voltage.
Glow ignitors?

I charge my 5 cell humps, and my radio batts eighter at .5, 1.0,1.5,2.0 just depends how fast I need it charged lol...and my glow ignitor I charge at .7...

Q - think you made a good choice, I'm not that familar with tekin products (except their batt dr and a 6800 BLsetup). The Pirahna sets the voltage by how many cells you tell it, you don't give it a voltage. I'm sure you've figured all that out by now.

I try to charge my rx pacs at 0.5a if I plan ahead and have the time. If I'm in a rush, I'll charge at 1amp. The rate I use on igniters depends on how big the cell is - I have a hot shot II with a 5000mah cell and I charge it at 1amp. My others are more typical capacity wise (1300mah NiCds) and I use 0.5 on them. If I'm tight on time, I'll charge them at 1amp to shorten the wait.
