Well, I've been watching RC videos lately, and alot of pepole have made videos by strapping a video camera to the roof of their car, specifically the E-maxx. I would like to know all the tricks, cameras, mounting tips, driving styles, everything I need to know how to use a camera to record stuff to watch (I realize it might not be very good quality video, and I don't care if it isn't filmed in 1080 hi-def; I just want to be able to see whats going on.
Please, tell all and give pictures if you have them!!! :D

ok heres what you do. you get a disposable video camera, cut it open, and somehow (i forget exactly but its somewhere on the internet) cut the wires to where the slot the camera store would use to get the video, and hook a usbport to it.
or you could simply duct tape the camera down and hope you dont flip! :D

I was hoping for like a helmet-cam type thing that you could fashion onto the top, but i'll take a peak at that idea. :)

Adding a question of my own here. After u make a Vid, how would u add music to it, and take out the other noises?

get video editing software like a thing called 'dazzle' you can add mp3's, mute everything, make headlines, you name it! just go to best buy with like 25-40buxx and there should be lots of options.

Windows has a basic... albeit Free movie editing software that may do what you're after... It's sorta baic, think of paint but for video editing... It's called windows movie maker, have a look through your start menu (depending on your version of windows) it should be there...
It may be kinda dodgey but hey it's free isn't it...
