hmmmm.....what turn motor are you running? and what esc do you have? it will last longer with more conservative gearing, but the car wont go as fast (dont see how that is an issue in drifting thou...

Welcome to RCZ, savage 28! I am guessing you are asking about the run time of 2000mah nicad's. Given that there is no memory effect and are fully charged, expect no more than 10 minutes out of them. I would suggest looking at other batteries, as these are old and out dated cells. Look for ni-mh cells, which may cost a little more, but you get way more capacity and no memory effect. Radioshack has some good GP3300 batts for only $25 apiece, if you are looking for cheap batteries. If you like ebay, check out these (http://cgi.ebay.com/2-NiMH-Battery-Pack-for-RC-Car-Tamiya-7-2V-3300-mAH_W0QQitemZ230062410915QQihZ013QQcategoryZ34063Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). They were my first RC batteries, and they are great for the money. It does not come with a charger, but save your money and get a better quality charger from your LHS (local hobby shop) or tower hobbies. I hope this helps

thanks for the info there, in the end i never bidded on them, i think il take your advice and buy a couple of gp cells when i have the chance il try and get the highest capacity possible. im only using a nosram missile reverse and a 21x2 motor, im not too sure on what gearing to use yet as the car ive bought is in the post
