Am I the only one who thinks the maxtec shockwave is the best modified motors?? I think it would be the best because the can is Thicker, The magnets are 8.4w Magnets where the D4 is only 6.2w. My other question is if I ran masher's on my T3 would I have to gear it way down so i dont burn up my ESC. I have a Tekin Rebel, and a 12 double.

MERCY! I am surprised you have not burnt that up yet.....

Either way, yes, you would have to gear down, i think 2 teeth lower would be a good start, and possibly three.

With those types of magnets, I do not know(or think) that they could be ROAR and NORCCA approved, that is why those motors may not be used as much, but that is just a guess.

BTW, the reason i said that was i have burnt up 3 rebels, with a D4 14 quad, just not good luck for me, so i went with a novak, and it rocks, much smoother throttle response and cooler running, plus, it has 2 profiles, and it was just as much as the rebel.
