How good are these motors? Just need a good motor for some backyard bashing. How does it compare to a speed gem or p2k

Other than being a little bit cheaper, they are just fine and equal to any other motor out there.

They are perfect for bashing, I use them in my stampede.

they are cheap for a few reasons,
1: the endbell is fixed, so, no adjustable timing
2: The Endbell is sealed, so if you do not have a stock lathe, you are out of luck.
3: They use bushings.
These are great basher motors, i have seen them run, they seem to be ok, not a real competition type motor though...

Steve, you must mean unless you have a stock lathe, you're out of luck, right?
