Guys, I was wondering what kind of batteries are the best. So far I haved looked at ballistic batteries, Sanyo, Panasonic, Trinity, Associated, Peak Performance, Dynamite, Elite Speed Products, Intergry, and Team Orion. I also heard that 1700s are the best for TCs, which is what I am going to be getting. Thanks.

Though i am not aquainted with TC's and battery life in them, i will voice my opinion.
What will you be running? Modified, stock? Again, since i am not aquainted with the average run times of these, the type of motor you plan to run affects the type of battery you will get. In off-road, for stock racing, 1700's are where it is at, gobs of volts, and enough run time to get through a 5 minute race. But with TC's having higher bite, and operating at a higher average speed, i do not know if 1700's would be good for stock racing.
For modified racing, what it appears is that 3000's are the only way to fly with them, that is just what i have heard, if you could, find some guys at the track, and ask what they suggest: a 2400 could do just the trick for both mod and stock racing, if they can get you through the race.
Cells: Sanyo, panasonic have good ones, like the Stock metals sound like killer batteries.
The matcher, Trinity, Reedy, and SMC all have the best packs in my opinion, they have been around for some time, and simply know their crap.
