i really like the speed i got now with the taller tires and 15/84 gearing can i run one of these fans on my esc and get a heat sink with fan for the motor? and keep everything cool enough to keep it safe?

The fan will require either a new reciever or an extra battery (somebody please correct me if I am wrong). The fan idea is good, but you should not need to put a fan on the motor or ESC. On an offroad vehicle, if the motor and ESC are heating up, it is over-geared, or there is another problem. The fan and maybe extra battery will add weight to the car, and slow you down.

he can run the fan off the stock esc thru the bec.if you go to radioshack you can get the 9v connectors and solder them on to run a 9v battery

yes you can, very easily.
And no these fans aint designed to run from BEC they are designed to go between the battery wires (wired in paralell) so you get 7.2v not 5v from BEC. it will work from BEC voltage but not well...
Just as a side note thoug, get a MuchMore Cooling fan, provides ALLOT more airflow and is great quality (i own the Integy one whereas my mate owns muchmore)
