2/3's of the motor in enclosed on my rustler so i built a ram air motor cooler i have no clue if it will work or not but i won't hurt anything. i cut 2 slots 1 top 1 bottom on the motor housing and bent up a little scoop and let it hang just below the the truck . what do ya think? help or not

Probably not a whole lot. The scoop needs to go down further I would say so it can catch more air (more drag though).

I just cut most of the excess tranny plastic that surrounds the motor off on my Rusty, and stuck a heatsink on the motor. :D

you got any pics of it? i thought about that to, but i dont want to cut to much and have the motor fall off or something

didnt work with in minutes it broke off

didnt work with in minutes it broke offYeah, I figured that would happen, the Rusty does'nt have much ground clearance so anything hanging below the chassis risks getting torn off.

i cut out some of the trans case. i may need to gear lower motor and esc are getting pretty hot with the longer run time of my 3500's
