What wire size should I be using for battery pack connectors and off the motor??? would 14 AWG be ok?? I'm running packs between 3000-4000 mah. Its for a electric drift car. Thanks!!

14 guage wire should be fine for a drifter, but I would install 12 guage if possible.

ok thanks for the info. The reason I ask is because I can get 14AWG for free, its the stuff they use for wiring residential houses. Is that ok to use??

"Is that ok to use?" Yes and No yes it will work but its better to use RC grade wire. The thing about the house wire is its solid vs. stranded.Solid wire will work but its not very flexible(which is important in RC).Its worth the few bucks it would cost to buy some novak or deans wire.

No problem. Anytime. I know how it is to start electric after doing nitro. I started with a T-Maxx, went to an HPI RS4 3 18SS, and then got me a XXX-T MF2, and a Mini-T. so i love electric now cause i can just charge and run the mini around my ping-pong table! lol its a lot easier and more fun.
Long story short,
Enjoy The Slide :D

I haven't left Nitro.. Just wanted to see what all the fuss was about.. being that electric is suppose to be the king of drifting. I also got a nitro RS4 18ss drifter and a 18ss touring car, I love hearing the nitro engines scream but its also nice to take a break and just charge some batteries and get my slide on :D
