I have a green machine 3 stock motor and I am wondering what I need to do to care for my motor. such as replacing brushes and othere things, and how often I need to do this.

It's a good idea to spray out the motor after a dirty, dusty run with motor spray. Also, taking apart the motor and cleaning out the armature and relubing the bushings will help lengthen the life span of your motor. Brushes don't really need to be changed until they're about half their original length. but it doesn't hurt to change them a bit more often.

Every 5 runs (or right before the main) i take out my motor and hose it down with motor cleaner in every hole imaginable. I also check if everythign is working fine (arm spinning smoothly when brushes/springs arent putting pressure on it; brushes arent cracked, etc) oil it up and put it back in. After about every 20 runs or so (unless something goes bad), I rebuild my motor. Cut/true the comm, change brushes make sure springs are still tight, all that on top of what i do every 5 runs. I replace the bushings every few months.
