XXX body eater

is it just me or do the back mounts on the XXX tear up more bodies then u can count
i like the XX where the wing and the body post keep everthing on track

Same happened here, your best bet is to get an extra piece of lexan, and double up the body right there. I did this body hasnt teared.

Well it hasn't happened to mine, but I've seen a lot of guys that race them do have the problem of tearing at the rear body mount holes. It seems that if your holes are nicely reamed (!) it doesn't happen as much. I put duct tape on the inside of the body around the holes right from the start.
However, next body I get I'm going to remove the rear mounts and put velcro there and a little down the sides to keep it snug (and then not ream any holes in the body). Lots of guys do this and don't have the problem. I never use pins in the rear mounts anyway. And they can be a pain in the arse to locate the body on when you're in a hurry to get to the grid....

Hey if you go to stormer hobbies or elsewhere RPM makes snap fit body washers exclusively for the XXX back posts and these have lasted me for quite awhile and the body is nicley intact and not torn.

I use Traxxas body washers that are shoe gooed into the inside, my body was tearing, so this was a quick fix for me
