a few years ago i got my first r/c, tmaxx 2.5 when it first came out, my parents helped me out for my birthday to get it (think it might have been my 14th birthday?) anyways after doin some mods to it and puttin a sirio .18 motor in it i sold it becuase my buddy i use to run with sold his and runnin by myself was getting boring. now recently (going to be 17 in a month) i decided to buy myself another r/c. went into my local hobby store. decided i wanted to go with a truggy after seein one in the store. knew i wanted to go with a kit right away becuase after the guy showed me and told me about the spectrum radio i knew thats what i was gonna go with. after an hour or 2 talkin about and lookin at the truggys he had there i decided to go with the jammin x1 crt, with the spectrum radio and a OS vzB spec .21. guy at my local shop said to come back after i get the truck together so we can use the breakin bench for my motor then put it in the truck, 2 days later showed up with all my stuff, guy couldnt belive i put it together that fast (2 very long days and nights) anyways i dont even got a whole gallon threw the motor yet(after breakin) and this thing runs perfect, fires right up dont have any stupid problems with anything like i seemed to have with the tmaxx. overall im happy i got back into r/cs and i think since i got my go fast truck a crawler will be my next build. heres some pics of my truggy and THANKS

Welcome to the forums, deadwillrise! Cool ride. I do not think I have ever seen someone using a truggy for bashing.

I have strictly bashed with my Dominator Show Truck. I don't think they are all that great on a track unless you have lots of competition that is close to equal. My closest track was indoor and didn't have the room so wouldn't allow 1/8th anyway.

As for the body, I haven't seen a monochromatic paint scheme like that since I painted my little brother's first T-Maxx all red including the windows. You should look at XXX-Main external stickers and trim the windows out. Looks like you are having fun so keep it up.

the the little that iv bashed with it, its been good... set up that wooden jump to jump across my street and came up short, front tires hittin the face of the curb almost the same time it was landing and only thing that happened was the front bumper screws popped out

and yeah as far as the body, it was drivin me nuts runnin it without a body and i didnt wanna run it on there clear and mess it up so i just grabbed what i had real quick and sprayed it... i didnt trim the body as good as i liked in a few spots so i was plannin on gettin another body anyways

If I can bash a RC10GT I bet a truggy would make even a better basher...strength in the right places and let it fly... :teacher:

yeah defintily fly real nice... controling it in the air isnt as harsh as it is when i had the tmaxx, that was real touchy in the air compared to this
