I was just wondering if anybody could give me any tips on getting my moters up in power.

In order of operation.
1. before race day and Mains use a com-stick to clean brushes and comm.
2. after two to three race days turn your comm.
3. After two comm turns replace your brushes.
4. Once comm is turned enough (worn out) replace the whole armature, or buy a new motor.

Remember what kind of can you are running (epic, top, yok) these are the major variations in stock motors. ALL epic cans are the same And so are top, and yok cans. The difference in power comes from shimming your armature and by using the correct brushes and spring combinations. If you are asking about Mod motors I don't know enough to advise you. But for stock motors the preceding should work just fine.

Use bushing oil on your motor bushings as well. And when shimming your motor allow some play in the arm. Ask for assistance from fellow racers and look at their motors.
